Joel Ferguson was born and raised in Thomasville, NC, before moving to the Archdale area in 2005, after marrying his wife Melissa. After he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from High Point University, he continued his education by attending NC A&T and GTCC for classes towards a Civil Engineering degree. Joel has worked as a surveyor and is currently a civil engineer where he does design work for utility projects and plan review for upcoming development. Joel’s knowledge of the area, along with his unique work experience, gives him an edge to understand the local housing market, He hopes to use the knowledge obtained from his business and marketing courses to better serve clients and to think of new and innovative ways to market homes. In 2013, Joel, along with his family, bought a flip house which they completely renovated inside and out. Joel loves spending time with Melissa and their two daughters, Emeri and Kara. He enjoys family vacations, watching movies, woodworking, being outdoors and designing or renovating.
